Lasgarne woods loop, start along riverside, up hospital road onto Leigh road, sharp right up the Beeches. Follow The Beeches to Lasgarne woods, first section may be a little overgrown…take care. At Kissing gate turn left and follow track for about 1/2 mile, look out for bridle path sign, turn right onto narrow track which takes you through to wide forest road, turn right and follow forest road up onto Folly lane. Left onto folly lane and up onto open mountain, after cattle grid continue up to trig point. From trig point return via Folly and grotto. 

From PALC head to cycle track going south to Ponthydrunn, short climb up to Five Locks and return on canal. Come off at basin or Jockey pitch depending on distance you want to run:
