The club aims to promote the sport of running and to support, encourage and motivate runners of all ages and abilities. Members are encouraged to participate in races and events as a team and individually.

Our training is structured to develop your running and equipe members with the experience to take part in events of all distances and terrains – and to be fun! Every month, the plan is uploaded onto the Training Plan of the site so you always have an idea what to expect to do on club night.

Pont-y-pwl and District Runners are affiliated to Welsh Athletics and participate in the Gwent Leisure Centre Leagues and Gwent Cross Country League.
