Shorter routes will be offered at each training session, so don't be put off if you think it's too far, or too fast. We offer sessions for everyone. These are a guideline only*.

Beginners are most welcome -you will offered structured training specifically tailored for level of ability.

Unless otherwise stated, all sessions start at Pontypool Active Living Centre (ALC). Mondays at 6.30pm - Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

WK01 Mon 5th First Steps Group and Junior Section
Tues 6th GLCLRR - Race 2 Penalta Park
Thurs 8th Gypsy Lane 8 Mile -
Sat 10th Pontypool parkrun:  9am Castles Relay - Day 1  / Man v Horse
Sun 11th Pontypool Junior parkrun:9am Castles Relay - Day 2
WK02 Mon 12th First Steps Group  and Junior Section
Tues 13th Speed work  or Rose Inn Race 2
  400m Intervals - 12 x 400m On Path Around Rugby Pitch. Working in small pace groups. 
Thurs 15th Recce of Coity - meet Whistle Inn, Blaenafon
Sat 17th Pontypool parkrun:  9am             Coity Fell Race (5m) from the Whistle Inn, Blaenafon....1 pm start
Sun 18th Pontypool Junior parkrun:9am   Caerphilly 10km
WK03 Mon 19th First Steps Group
Tues 20th Speed Work- Out and Back Canal Pyramid 1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 2 -1 - 1 -2 -3 Min Intervals with Equal Timed Recoveries turnaround after 2nd 3min Recovery (Non Coached - Leader Led)
Thurs 22nd 9 miles Flat:
Sat 24th Pontypool parkrun:  9am
Sun 25th Pontypool Junior parkrun:9am Tour de Calch Fell Race - 8m from Farmers Arms,Cwmddu....2pm start or JCP SWANSEA 1/2M
WK04 Mon 26th First Steps Group and Junior Section
Tues 27th Speed Work - 5 x 1k efforts. Start on path towards Usk Rd Gates, loop around italian Gardens. Static Recoveries 90 secs
Wed 28th The Blade Runner, 
Thurs 29th Social Run: 10Km around Llandegfedd Res. Meet in res car park, then Carpenter's Arms for a drink after run.
Sat 1st Jul Pontypool parkrun:  9am   Guto Nyth Bran fell race, Bedwas 6pm.                                  
Sun 2nd Jul Pontypool Junior parkrun:9am
