Half Marathon.

Shorter routes will be offered at each training session, so don't be put off if you think it's too far, or too fast. We offer sessions for everyone. These are a guideline only*.

Beginners are most welcome -you will offered structured training specifically tailored for level of ability.

Unless otherwise stated, all sessions start at Pontypool Active Living Centre (ALC). Mondays at 6.30pm - Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Sunday 3rd Gwent League XC Pembrey  
Tuesday 5th 2 x 1km + short hills Warm up, 2 x 1km reps from leisure centre to park gates + return, short hill reps in groups x 6

Sunday 10th Xmas Pudding Race  
Tuesday 12th Kenyan Hills Timed 6min efforts up and down on path to pond x 3 sets with 2 mins recovory
Thursday 14th Xmas Social with Fairwater Relays at Cwmbran Stadium - arrive ready for 6.40. Fish & Chips after £5 Deposit

Tuesday 23rd 5 x 1k  1k reps from LC to gates and return, 90s rec 5 reps.
Thursday 25th 9 miles ,Garndiffaith, talywain, Sprint home
Tuesday 30th 12 x 200m reps Extended warm up for short fast reps; 6 x 100m progressive intensity. 12 x 200m with 200m jog recovories
