Shorter routes will be offered at each training session, so don't be put off if you think it's too far, or too fast. We offer sessions for everyone. These are a guideline only*.

Beginners are most welcome -you will offered structured training specifically tailored for level of ability.

Unless otherwise stated, all sessions start at Pontypool Active Living Centre (ALC). Mondays at 6.30pm - Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Tues 5th  Speedwork 6 x 800m (7 for fast group)
Thurs 7th Canal-Folly 10km Canal - Off at the Star, left up the Roman Road, Right at the top towards the Folly. Back,  towards the Grotto into the park.
Sat 9th Recce of Ponty Plod course Meet Llandegfydd Reservoir car park 12:30pm
 Sun 10th Return of the iconic Cwmcarn Scenic 7, 11:00am from Cwmcarn scenic drive
Tues 12th  Speedwork 12 x 400m
Thurs 14th Social Run around Griffithstown - from Open Hearth pub with plenty of opportunities to cut off for shorter distances
Sat 14th Welsh 5k Road Race Relays - Pembrey park
Sun 17th Mic Morris Torfaen 10k
Tues 19th  Speedwork 12 x 200m
Thurs 21st 9 mile Pentwyn loop
Sat 23rd Pontypool parkrun     
Sun 24th Another chance to recce Ponty Plod course Interested parties to arrange
Tues 26th Speedwork Pyramids: 200-400-600, 600-400-200
Thurs 28th Curry Night! Crumlin Old Road out & back All distances.
Sat 30th Cardiff Festival of Running.     Or   Black Mountains fell race - 17 miles                                            
Sun Oct 1st Cardiff 1/2 Marathon
