Shorter routes will be offered at each training session, so don't be put off if you think it's too far, or too fast. We offer sessions for everyone. These are a guideline only*.

Beginners are most welcome -you will offered structured training specifically tailored for level of ability.

Unless otherwise stated, all sessions start at Pontypool Active Living Centre (ALC). Mondays at 6.30pm - Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Sat 1st Guto Nyth Bran  6 mile fell race BS 6pm £8 on the night. Goody bag & T Shirt. (!) Entirely suitable for beginners too. Bedwas CF83 8BJ
Tues 4  Gwent leisure league race Pontypool 10km route - start 7.30pm. Click for Map of Route
Thurs 6th 5.6 miles canal - cycle track- riverside Route:
Thurs 6th Tintern Trot 6m Trail Run 7.30pm £9/£11 otn. Abbey Mill, Tintern.  
Sat 8th / Sun 9th Long Course Weekend  
Sat 8th / Sun 9th Brecons Fans Race Weekend.  10 mile race, and 3.5 mile race.
Tues 11th Speed work - Off Road Hills Hill Reps on grass above the Rugby pitch. 
Tues 11th Rose Inn 4 mile Race Redwick. 
Thurs 13th Pantegasseg Twmpath 8 Miler Route:
Sat 15 Merthyr Mawr Trail Running Festival Various races for all the family, all abilities.
Sun 16th    
Tues 18th  Speed work, 5 x 1km efforts Start on path towards Usk Road gates, loop around Italian Gardens. Static recovery of 90 seconds
Thurs 20th Lasgarne woods - Folly Route:
Sat 22nd Waun Fach 7m Fell Race  2pm £5 otd. Cwmfforest Riding Centre, Talgarth LD3 0EU
Sun 23rd    
Tues 25th  Speed work, 6 x 800 metres Start at Leisure Centre, middle path, left by Italian Gardens, back to Centre 90 secs static recovery
Thurs 27 Social Run from Open Hearth  
Sat 29th Magor 10K
Sun 30th Tenby 10k
Tues 1st Aug Speed work, 12 x 400 metres On path around rugby pitch, jog recovery. Working in small pace groups.
